Oliver Sin was born in Budapest, Hungary. He became interested in art and science from an early age. He studied visual art from 2003 to 2009 at Dunakeszi’s Miklós Radnóti Gymnasium. After graduation Sin enrolled in Szombathely’s University of West Hungary where he majored in Visual Arts and Croatian.
Oliver explains his work by saying, “In my works I am examining the relationship between art and science, how art can recover the contents that have lost through scientific methods, visualize patterns of scientific thinking. I am very excited about making art about the most fresh and innovative scientific research. In last 5 years investigating science through art, I realized that authentic, hard-science art can only be possible with collaboration of the specialists of the given themes. I had the opportunity to work with professors, researchers, scientists, even academics for M.I.T., Oslo University and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences”.
