"I love being reminded of the light in the room."

"I have always loved Eric's work. Was lucky to see his work at the Museum of Modern art and the Whitney many years ago. Glad to see he is still working and growing!"

"The cool thing was linking to his site and seeing a way wider range of his work than the standard canon found in most art history texts that try to deal with art since 1970. For the folks complaining about all the "realism" on this site- its what the site caters to. There are other sites that might cater to your tastes. Seeing how there still is such a bias against "realism" in many art schools and many parts of the art world... I find it refreshing."

"I like! I haven't noticed all of the work here is realism based - in any case, this one I like; many I don't."

"I remember Fischl's first show in New York. His work has always been exciting and daring. He has improved tremendously over the years. However, I do think his work relies too much on the camera. I have to wonder why he is featured on a site like this, he hardly needs the exposure."

"Too "Rockwell" Excuse me; it's like upscale "Rockwell" Only someone from New York would understand it."

"Light and Shadow... Brilliant!"

"Nice work with light!"

"It is fascinating how Lighting could be used to make such interesting points."

"Don't love it. Why is most of this stuff so realism based. Lots of varying types of art out there. Not all realistic figures. Change it up, eh?"
