About Greg

My work is sexy, thought provoking, and Angeleno inspired art, where unspoken heroes, and the lure of women casually mingle together. I offer the excitement of discovery mixed with the unexpected thrill of recovering something long lost. Bold contemporary images and popular themes are intermingled with text and presented in billboard-like simplicity, offering a varied and often surprising look at the timelessness of American historical and cultural events. The merging of pop culture, American Art, and the conceptual art movement of the 60s and 70s provide the content that is found throughout my art, paintings, and films.

My work is featured in the Charles Saatchi Collection, the Frederick R. Weisman Collection, and the corporate collections of Playboy, AmFAR, and Interscope Records. My work can also be seen in the permanent collections of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, the San Jose Museum of Art, and in numerous private collections.

"Fantastic work! Love it!"

"I think you should have left the commentary to someone else, not yourself. The baker shouldn't speak of his dough. Otherwise, the touch is unique."

"LOVE these! Love the vintage look!!!"

"i absolutely love this. beautiful."

"The girl in the pool, reminds meof my teenage years in the 1950'sLove it."

"Have been a fan of Greg Miller's work since my husband and I discovered him. We are lucky to own one and am thrilled that he was chosen as Artist for the Day."

"Very nostalgic and fun works."

"The woman jumping into the pool is reminiscent of the expressionism of everyday life captured in the Ashcan School (e.g., George Bellows, John Sloan and Edward Hopper). The relaxed gesture of the woman's impeding dive with her weight grounded in her feet with knees bent and arms back gazing into the water coupled with rich tonality and colors are captivating."

"the painting of the woman about to jumo into the pool and other works I viewed when I looked further online, make me feel good, just like I do when I swim. beautiful expression."

"you have a good sence of color although id like to see it maybe broken up more if there was maybe something in the pool i dont know yellow maybe what do you think? it might help to flatten the side of the pool if it was cut into. as for the second um, Painting made to look like colloge? its an interesting idea. but i do loooove color! cool"
