Aleksandar Todorovic is an artist and illustrator based in Belgrade, Serbia.
Aleksandar explains his work by saying, “For this exhibition i made various types of works in various painting technique all connected with clear narrative, but for the first time i made Icon-like works, which are made in the way of traditional Orthodox Icons, on wood board, with egg tempera and real gold plating. “Buy it All, Eat It All” acts both as the title of the exhibition and as an ironic catchphrase that depicts the ever growing consuming-obsessed era. It can be perceived as an inverse mantra, that shouts for awareness and criticism through its conceptual repetition.”
