About Paul

Paul, better known in the design industry and art world as ‘Insect’ served for several years as the creative force behind the London design collective, ‘Insect’. Paul was born in southeastern England. He studied graphic design for 4 years at Hastings and Salisbury art colleges. His images have graced the covers of creative magazines the world over and he recently created the cover for the last DJ Shadow album.

Cyclops Baby on the post is so unbalanced - dig it, big time. The value of simply viewing, seeing, is so underrated. Let it wash into you, I say. Let it in. Let your eyes enjoy. And Brain, just deal with it, you whiny gray wet sot; let it be.

I like the paintings. I find the first picture very interesting. It looks to me like a boy who??s young enough to be playing children games but old enough to be interested in girls. He has found his fathers pistol while looking through a box of old things. The time frame of the picture looks to be recent; I say this because the box is plastic. However, the plastic box is the only thing in the picture that looks remotely recent. Everything else reminds me of the "greatest generation". I like it very much but I??m not sure were it would go in my house.

This is really sad, this artist seems to have the imagination, but it is executed so unpleasantly.
