Violet D’Art is a self-taught photographer from Bulgaria who loves expressionism, fine art and conceptual photographs.
Violet explains here work by saying, “Some people see loneliness as something bad, I see it as something beautiful. Something one needs in order to find oneself, and create. It is where I find my ideas. My happiness, my pain. I often withdraw from everything and everyone and let emotions and inspiration guide me. With the end result usually being a mystery and surprise to me, too. It is really a process of self discovery as an artist as well as a human being. I like to think that my images provoke feelings. I believe in not describing the pieces of art, but rather letting the viewer decide what they see in it, letting them paint their own landscapes in it. I call it ‘Painting Mindscapes’.”
