My purpose as an artist is to question my surroundings and to document life that will never be repeated in the same light. I have documented individuals, neighborhoods and political expressions. In each case, I ask myself when I look through the lens do I want to look at this again” Intuition is huge for me in framing my composition. If it feels right in that moment of light and action and timing, I answer yes.
