"Her work reminds me of the Bay Area Figurative Movement. She uses confident gestural strokes and intense color temperature shifts on the bodies. I love how she breaks down the shapes into abstract color fields that only hints at what is actually happening in the space."

"KIM IS A WONDERFUL, PROLIFIC PAINTER. I HAVE BEEN AN ARTIST FOR 52 YEARS, BOTH REALISTIC AND ABSTRACT. I REALLY ENJOYED HER WEB SITE AND THINK SHE WILL CONTINUE TO GROW AND AMAZE ALL OF US."

"authentic..."

"abstract yet real in so many ways. This touched me in a way others do not. What a wide variety of work."

"These are my favorite paintings so far. I think Darlene is wrong, they do have a certain depth of field. Not that it even matters to me, some of my favorite artists (like Jean Dubuffet) purposely paint their landscapes and figures in a very flat way. I'm just glad to see something on this site that's figurative but not super realistic. (I've seen a lot or realism so far, which isn't my cup of tea.)"

"Doesn't really do anything for me."

"I'm a big fan! Great use of color and space. I dig the abstract flatness which is quite refreshing to me as I prefer non-representational art these days. Goodspeed to you. :)"

"I like the simplicity of both works. I'm drawn to the first, but it might just be because the center of interest is a rotund tush."

"I like this arstists paintings they have lots of character and color but some of the paintings look like they mostly one color."

"Very interesting abstract quality to these paintings."
