Since graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, concentrating in painting, she has returned to the Boston area to continue her work in contemporary realism.
Her paintings are a critique, not of the people she has painted, but of the rest of us that cannot look past their clothing. The material acts as a distraction from the subject that parallels the way the viewer would react to these people in everyday life.
