Danny Samuels graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1991. After working on the movie Boxtrolls at Laika Entertainment he moved to Los Angeles, CA where he worked as a model maker, fabricator, and sculptor for stop motion animation shows like Robot Chicken and other T.V. specials. He has recently been doing work for Mattel and Disney. His sculptures have been placed on display in multiple galleries in Florida and California including Gallery Nucleus, IAM8Bit, The Hive, the Best of Ringling Illustration show, 2010 Illest of Illustration Show, and the Society of Illustrators Student Show in New York City. He has been an assistant teacher for the Ringling Pre-College Perspective Program, helping with multiple classes including: 3d Design and Figure Sculpture in Clay.
