Born and raised in South Jersey, Mike always stayed close to his roots. Working currently as a Creative Director for Masterminds, an advertising firm outside of Atlantic City, he has always found time for his artwork. He draws from many influences such as pop culture, pin-ups, sci-fi, advertising art and typography to create his art. His work ranges from painted objects, such as bowling pins and surfboards, to canvases painted with images influenced by the icons of popular culture.
Mike has shown his work in many galleries throughout the U.S. including, DVA Gallery in Chicago, Toyroom in Sacramento, CA, Lunar Boy Gallery in Astoria, OR, Discovery Galleries in Bethesda, MA, The Shooting Gallery-San Francisco, Bluebottle Gallery-Seattle, DigDug’s Gallery-Charlotte, Blah Blah Gallery-Texas, Denovum-NJ, and East End Gallery-NJ.
