Fabio Selvatici is an artist who lives and works in Ferrara, Italy.
Fabio explains his work by saying, “My technique is based on a dualistic mix of digitally processed images and manual intervention through traditional instruments such as acrylic paints and liquid inks. The subjects of my work are often women’s bodies and faces initially perfect and unspoiled. I work on a process of deterioration and subsequent explosion by manually intervening on the image through a liquid mix of textures and materials that I select. The combination of these techniques allows me to create visual effects that act directly on the physicality of human subjects.”
