About Dennis Hayes

Born and raised in Buffalo New York and then a move to Detroit Michigan, artist Dennis Hayes IV, a.k.a. 7teen has lived most of his life in the aftermath of industrialized cities. Taking cues from these rust belt metropolises, the scientific and technical approach of the naturalist movement, fashion and the influence of niche counter cultures, he has integrated a signature style of harvesting found materials and a conceptual approach to the environment of his character based paintings.
