Travis K. Schwab is a self taught, colorblind artist from Pittsburgh, PA. He began exhibiting my work in 2012 and have recently been featured in New American Paintings Vol. 104.
Travis explains his work by saying, “I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, but only started working with oil paint about four years ago. I was reluctant to try and work in such a historic medium, feeling intimidated to approach something I could never master, as I am fairly colorblind. But the more I work, the more obvious the creative benefits of being a self-taught painter become to me.”
