Andrea Jensen received her BFA from the University of Iowa and her MFA from the University of Arizona.
Andrea explains her work by saying, “My work is intricately tied to the landscape; it’s use, misuse and particularly the individual’s sense of place within it. I address the nature of our desires and perceptions, and the resulting environmental crisis. Tending to a relationship with the environment, ultimately becomes a tending to others and can inspire potential change. This relationship with the environment is what I would like to confront through my work.”
