About Phil:
Phil McAndrew is an illustrator and cartoonist living in Syracuse, NY. He’s fresh out of school with a BFA in illustration from Daemen College, where he was awarded a four year portfolio based scholarship. He started publishing mini comics and web comics as a high school student. In 2004, Phil co-founded Found Hat Press, a collective of talented young illustrators and cartoonists. At the age of 22 he won the 2006 Syracuse Press Club Professional Recognition Award for best art illustration. He is currently attempting to write and draw his first graphic novel. Phil loves snowboarding, sandwiches, and watching movies.
