About Sara:
Originally from San Jose, California, Sara spent much of her adult life moving from one place to another without being willing to stick to one. Along the way she has used packing tape to lift bits of her surroundings. She sticks the tape onto paper in order to take that moment with her to the next place.
In 2003 Sara was invited to participate in the Arts Mentor Program at Santa Monica College and is a member of the Los Angeles Art Association. She has participated in many group and juried shows and is one half of Littlelift.

I loved this! It immediately transported me to one of the many public gardens I visit whenever in Japan, complete with dedication statue and all from a very different, interesting position…almost as though one were a god looking down upon the scene. Thank you for a very pleasant moment.

What does everyone think then? has the person in the top pic lost a few pounds, gained a few pounds, remains the same? …or is the art a jaunty look at someones position in the world?

I don’t see anything flawed about your logic or anything else in these paintings. I love everything about them.

Your art is gorgeous and unique… And Chuck D, it’s not about the logic. It’s a metaphorical thing. True, space and time are fully intertwined, but this isn’t about them; this is about the feeling the artist felt in each place, and her wishes to keep them with her, so that she won’t forget them.
And by the way, you spelled ‘inseparable’ wrong.

Great pieces with such a thoughtful choice of medium. Her use of color is beautiful.

I think logic is flawed when you think your logic is correct one. Anything is possible.

I really enjoy the perspective and composition of these art works. Very pleasing.

I think your work is original and unique. It would be rather comforting to carry the places you’ve been with you. Forget what other people think…just make what you feel and believe!

Great ideas, beautiful expresión of art and health and sensations

Space and Time are inseperable; therefore, when you change “places” you also change “moments”: Your logic is flawed. Other than that, your imagery, aesthetics, and process are rather captivating.
