About Roland:
In the spring of 1999, Roland earned a BFA in illustration from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. In the years since graduating, he began a career in the video game industry as an environment/concept artist. His personal work has grown as well and he is represented by Gallery 1988 in LA and SF.
What a magnificent tribute to these very intelligent ancient earth dwellers. LOL. Very unique and full of respect. I’m afraid I am in awe of many of our wildlife species of high intelligence and disturbed by humankind’s lack of respect simply because they cannot communicate. These pictures are just so full of power, motion and grandness.
cool

EEEEE FLYING WHALE
the artwork is very pretty and detailed. I like the use of whales.
God! these are beautiful. Maybe I’m just enfatuated with whales, but I continually refer back to featured artist Michael Wandelmaier’s piece “Harpooning of the Woolly Whale”. I now will be referring back to these gorgeous works as well.
