Jennifer on her work:
My paintings invite the viewer to experience new and emergent spaces. They explore relational space and the idea that while having no positive existence of its own, space allows everything else to exist. They are full of bright colors, circles and swirls that illustrate a perpetually changing environment. They can be best described as exploding optimism and are unabashedly happy.
At this point, I want to experiment with new palettes, add more spontaneous elements, work larger, and learn more about different conceptions of space.
NICE WORK OK
I’ve compared these with Beatriz Milhazes and this art is A LOT better. These colors are more intense and cohesive. Kudos!!
Jennifer, what more can I say that the use of color is splendid. Who wouldn’t love a mural like that in their home. What beautiful sense of movement in the static. Wether is is derivative or emulative I cannot say, I’m not an art buff; but, I do know when something evokes excitement and joy in my soul. Your work does that to me. Thank you for sharing.
i love you silking art work i love the differnting mix colors
Love the bright colors!!!
The colors are absolutely delightful and a joy to view. Great work! ♥
For myself, these paintings provide an immediate emotional pick-me-up. I wish they were hanging in my room so that I saw them first thing in the morning.
has a shining black feel to it only not as gestural i suppose. Very commercial i could see this on television. Very enticing.
Very Beautiful
Her pieces are strikingly similar to those created a few years ago by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes. I know of Milhazes because I have shown her work to my art students. Search for her work and you decide. I am troubled by the similarities but perhaps they were both (independently) inspired by Kandinsky.
