colors fit perfectly together for each work. the one of the young girl caught my eye first — i love how you use all the various forms of media based around one particular focal point. is so pop and so detail-oriented

I love your concept and use of color. The first piece reminds me of Twiggy as a child…if that’s what you were going for, it’s perfect. Either way, good work!

thanks, roger for the insight. the paper that i used in the bottom piece is over 100 years old already so i think it is a yellow as it is going to get. i also use a varnish sealer over all my work to prevent that from happening further.

His colors and subjects pop in every sense of the word “pop.” I like the timeline of his site; it’s very thorough. And I kind of prefer his late 90′s early 00′s animal pieces a little more than his humanoids…they vibrate with imagination and remind of me of illuminated stained-glass.

of all the pieces they could’ve picked, these two are kind of boring. your work as a whole is very good, and some of the pieces are just wonderful but these two are poor representations.

It’s official. There is a retro movement of Pop Art in San Francisco. Where does it come from? Get the book called “Pop Art” there are several. Poop Art was my childhood. Pop art was my teenage years. I’m biased.

To danyol I warn you of archival problems. That pattern paper is going to turn yellow and then flake off. It is not how you say “archival” same for the board games. Best to copy the found art with C prints then paint over it.

I love this style/technique. It’s seems to be getting very popular. Every show I attend locally seem to have more and more artist trying it out.

It’s worthy style and technique. Danyol does a great job with it. Great use of Pop Art traditions.

I’m yet aware of its origin. But if anyone knows. Please let us know.
