How can you degrade some one for creating what they think and feel is art. Some one should naysay on one of your passionate out lets. There seems to be a lot more wisdom in his pieces than the collective of negative comments towards them.

i think this artwork is great. to reiterate what others have said, IT MAKES YOU THINK. it actually makes you look at the images, and think about what they really mean. Good art, literature, photos, images, etc. are nice when they're all sunshine and bunnies....but, in this world today, that's NOT the case. In a Utopian world, everyone gets along, and artwork represents two people holding hands, skipping through a field of green grass and wildflowers. His pieces are a sort of wake up call. Again, to reiterate what others have said, he's obviously gotten his point across b/c we're all making comments. Controversial, yes, political, yes. Bad taste, no. How he feels about the world and the direction in which America is headed is depicted in his artwork. It takes a lot of audacity to come up with some of this stuff...More power to him.

the cheeseburger represents the obesity in modern america. it is the man on the left (from a commical standpoint) rejecting the high calorie food choice. I dont believe it is inappropiate, it is his opinion and statement to make. Let the guy make it. So what he wants the picture to take on double meanings...that was his point.

Ah, the beauty of art. His statement is not worth saying...in your opinion. To others here, it is worth saying. And I'll give you the fact that the number of comments alone does not make it good but check the rating, it's also very high. If you don't like it, thats fine but don't criticize him for making a statement.

I do not think this is even worthy of being considered art. The bottom one is lifeless and uncreative and the top one is not only at a total loss when it comes to imaginative thinking, but also incredibly offensive. The original photograph referenced by Bajus in the top piece is a real photo of a human being about to be shot. I totally agree with Cath, below, that the matter is not to be taken lightly by any means. If you're going to make a statement, make sure you have something worth saying. Also, I don't think that a lot of negative feedback is directly related to the quality of art. It is true that brilliant artists are often hard to swallow because that unconventionality accompanies any great new movement. But the Mohammad cartoon aroused world wide outrage, a much bigger reaction than 25 comments on some obscure web page, and I would not consider that cartoon to be art. However, I will suggest to Bajus to keep working hard and someday he may come up with a cartoon comparable to the famous Danish bit.

Personally, I think the fact that this artist has more comments than any other in recent date proves that he can evoke emotion. Isn't that the whole idea of art. It's really easy to take pictures of kittens and puppies, but it's more difficult to stir up deep emotion in people. I agree that it's unsettling but it does provoke thought, and that to me is good art.

I think the mix of polar ideas in each of these images is very interesting. They are definitely thought pieces, and completely open to a variety of interpretations as shown by some of these comments. I think there's more than meets the eye here. Nice work.

I will assume this artist was very young or not born yet when the photo he based this on happened. If he had been old enough at the time to be aware of this, then I think he would remember the shock that accompanied this as it went around the world. A world at that time where you never saw photos like this in your newspaper. heck - even if he had not - anyone with half a brain would know better than to try and make light of this.

No burger is that bad...It reminds me of the Vietnam War and the famous video of the execution of a Vietnamese Spy by an American Soldier. At the time the most disturbing video ever relaesed to the public and in fact became a huge Antiwar symbol for the nation. Despite the fact that the executed man was an enemy combatant and known spy. This was the firs time Americans had to deal with the idea that soldiers don't always dress in traditional military clothing--an idea we are oh so familiar with today.

This is pathetic. Art can be subjective and humorous but these are just lame. I get the humor but where is the art? This is more of a craft. This belongs right up there with the mass produced decorator art that you would find in Wal Mart. Shame on you for thinking you are an artist. Go back to drawing on toilet walls.

Chris, Iâ??m bemused by your excoriation of this work. It must clearly be a result of your narrow and obtuse understanding of the world in which we live in. Among other things, this work is highly creative, fresh and relevant. Obesity is an epidemic in this country and the print is very poignant in expressing one of the major underlying causes to this epidemic. If you canâ??t keep your critiques constructive I suggest you take your insolence elsewhere.

Wow. This is just terrible art--completely pseudo-political, but with nothing new or creative to say about it. "Grrrr, McDonalds is so horrible!" Oh boo hoo. If you don't like it, or America, do eat there, or live here. You are pathetic.

I rated low because I find the illustration that quotes the shooting highly problematic and unethical. Besides that I like the graphic style and political commenting.
