Wow this is so cool. It's calming and I like the top one where you can see the reflection of the sculptures in the water. Plus, the artist lives in my area. GO San Diego! Great sculptor and photographer.

Really nice. I love the combination of water and rock which makes it both calm and strong. Congratulations on your art.

I used to think this was fakeâ?¦ itâ??s truly amazing that rocks can hold each other in such precarious forms. Organic artâ?¦ itâ??s somehow inspiring. Whatâ??s more amazing is that after hours of working on creating the sculptures you have to practice full detachment and walk away because you canâ??t take them with you. That is serious discipline!

Ah ha! Mystery solved. :-) I first enjoyed these sculptures while walking in Boulevard Park in Bellingham. They have this amazing sense of timelessness in person with the sound of the waves, the seagulls and the wind as part of them. Nice work on all levels.

I like the randomness of it...imagine finding one of these sculptures in nature with no identifying plaque. That would be awesome. It comments on how ego-less the artist is. Nice balance...if rocks can do yoga, so can I, darnit!~sammylambs

Yoga and art-making are conscious altering. Both involve a lessening of awareness of body, disregard for time, Art is task oriented rather than time oriented. Yoga seeks a sense of eternity. A complete 180 degree opposite of contemporary lifestyle. One should be relaxed after finishing this practice.

My apologies for not putting this all in one comment. My mistake. I need to balance some rocks.

Wow! Oh,Wow! These creations are almost a spiritual experience for me.The rocks are in yoga postures as you. They seem to be paying almage to the sea. I am reminded of the interconnectedness of all life, that we are all made up of the same materials. On the other hand, I am amazed that you could actuall balance rocks of this mass. Incredibally creative and inspired. Thank you.
